இந்த வாரப் பாடநெறியில், இறந்த காலத்தில் (Past Tense) செய்வினை (Active Voice) மற்றும் செயப்பாட்டு வினை (Passive Voice) ஆகியவற்றின் அமைப்பைப் பற்றி உங்களுக்கு விளக்குவோம்.

நிகழ்காலத்தில் (Present Tense) செய்வினை மற்றும் செயப்பாட்டு வினையை நினைவுகூருமாறு உங்களுக்கு நினைவூட்ட விரும்புகிறோம்.

நிகழ்காலம் மற்றும் இறந்த காலம் ஆகிய இரண்டிலும் செய்வினை எவ்வாறு செயப்பாட்டு வினையாக மாறுகிறது என்பதைப் புரிந்துகொள்ள இது உங்களுக்கு உதவும்.

இப்போது நாம் இறந்த காலத்தில் மட்டுமே செய்வினை மற்றும் செயப்பாட்டு வினையைக் கற்கப் போகிறோம், அதாவது

இயல் இறந்த காலம் (Past Simple Tense) •தொடர் இறந்த காலம் (Past Continuous Tense) •முழு இறந்த காலம் (Past Perfect Tense) •தொடர் இறந்த காலம் (Past Perfect Continuous Tense)
மேற்கண்ட அனைத்து காலங்களிலும் நான்கு வகையான வாக்கியங்கள் இருக்கும், அதாவது

உறுதி வாக்கியம் (Afformative Sentence) •எதிர்மறை வாக்கியம் (Negative Sentence) •ஆம் அல்லது இல்லை வகை வாக்கியம் (Yes or No Type Sentence) •குறிப்பிட்ட வகை வாக்கியம் (Specific Type Sentence)
